Wind
Clouds getting blown in the wind.
I learnt this back when I was at the hang gliding school (didn’t end up finishing the course because the weather was never really on my side). But when the clouds are pulled long like the yellow ones, it is the wind blowing over them and pulling them out into that shape. You can’t see the wind but you know it is there just the way the clouds are shaped. Now I hope I did remember that correctly.

Week 26 of Project 365

FINALY I have caught up with my Photos, now already at week 26 I am half way though this and only missed at few days. It is amazing that I have really stuck with something this long, and I am still enjoying. Some days I do have a bit of a harder time taking a photo. But not most days.

This week we had flooding and Ms Mar got to stay home from school. We couldn’t really get out of the valley we are living in. But it was fun. In the afternoon we went for a walk to feed the neighbours rabbits, the river was HIGH, but we did notice it had already started to go down. The next day the school bus couldn’t get to us, since there had been a huge slip. Only cars could get past, they also chopped down some trees so it took them all day to clean it up. The school bus did bring her home though.

Macro Friday – A bug

We had one VERY warm day this week so I got all our planter ready for when it gets warm and stays warm. Well while filling the boxes up again and moving the dirt around I found this little bugger, no idea what it is, I would nearly guess a Cicada but I doubt one would lay its lava in there. I took a few photos then covered it with dirt again. I just can’t kill little things, unless of course they are mossies or other little blood suckers. Don’t like mossies, one down 20 billion to go is what I often say.

So I found this little one to be kind of cute in a buggy cute way. Well after I took 4-5 pictures it started to make its way back into the dirt, so I covered it, this way it will be safe from the sun and anybody wanting to through it down from our balcony, We live in the 4th and 5ed floor, so it is a VERY long drop.

So here is my little Marco bug shot.

Color Splash Sunday - You Choice

Photobucket This week over at Artistically Amy a few things have changed, first what is cool, is if there are more then 6 entries there will be a winning photo. How cool is that. Also what has changed the first sunday of each month will be your choice, EEEK, my choice, OK i can do somthing sombody tells me too but my choice, help, so I sepnt all week looking for a photo I can use for my choice. Taking phtotos of a whole bunch of things, then when we were in the graden on saterday Miss Mar found a ladybug, I put it on the rose bush and splashed that one with this out come.

I found a new cool way to make photos black and white, or how ever, make them more silvery or like this one a very light green shade, I use the gradent tool in photoshop, I think it is so fun. So no more plain B&W but interresting colord black and whites....
