Scavenger Hunt Sunday

I have to say I had lots of fun this week with Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I have been trying for the longest to get back in to doing more post but just haven’t work out how to get it all done. Most of the time I spend my time steering into the computer screen not knowing how to get my post done. I have started using Windows live writer, I find it ALOT easer to put a post together. Also I have created templates for each of my post, this way all I need to do is add the photos and text, as the links are already added and the main formatting is done for each post. I just copy that into the source part of the windows live editor and then add in my other information(text and Photos). Also I have a word document with all the upcoming contest when I have made the post and sent it to blogger with a date for an automatic post. Hoping to get a head. I am writing most of this post middle of the week and already have a post ready to post itself. Now just to get ahead a week or two I would be so glad.

I got most of the photos done this week, ones I could take inside. I used 2 from my older photos. I had the most fun with the SILVER photo.

This weeks list:
  1. Memories
  2. Reflection
  3. Silhouette
  4. Doorway(s)
  5. Silver

Color Splash Sunday - Reflections

This weeks theme is reflections, I had all these ideas from trying to get the sky reflecting in a water drop to the kitchen reflecting in a bowl. All didn't turn out looking too grate. I am sure the kitchen in a bowl would look good, but it would need allot more time then I had to spend on that.  So While walking around be for a DR appointment I thought this was so cute. Mr Mar JR walking along side a window. I actually like the way it turned out.

So head over to Amy's blog Artistically Amy for more color splash photos.

In a Yellow House - On the Road

I don't actually take allot of photos while on the road, unless it is of both kids holding hands in the back seat, they usually don't make the best photos, but are overly cute. The photo I am entering for this weeks in a yellow house photo challenge is also a reflection. I took this about a month ago when we were going home from my cousins birthday I seem to be posting allot of photos from that day. There was this grate sunset behind us, though I wanted to take in the revue mirror but that just did not work out as the trees keeped getting in the way, traveling along the motorway at 130km/h and during sun set, having a P&S camera, using it on fully manuel is just HARD. As soon as you get the setting right, you then have trees or a truck or something els in the picture, then you start again resetting everything cos of the ever changing light. I just ended up using the side mirror, and this is like the ONLY picture I took that looks good. But then I only took about 10 photos. So I could say I am lucky to even get one.

This weeks in a yellow house challenge is being hosted by Ashley Sisk who also happens to be my newest follower since Chelsea is on vacation to Europe. Wounder if she will travel that road I posted...
