In a Yellow House - Arts 'n' carfts

BWS tips buttonThough we did spend a week doing arty stuff, it was all baking, we made a wedding cake, still editing the photos for a post of the cake, but I don't have all the time in the world. This photo I am entering is of Ms Mar when we did a finger painting project, guess it turned into a body painting project. She had fun, and I think the color full bubbles in the bubble bath afterwards were a really bonus. She has changed so much in the last 1.5 years, I took this november 2008.

In a yellow house photo challenge is still being hosted by Ashley Sisk so head on over to her blog Ramblings and Photos for more arts and crafts.

In a Yellow House - On the Road

I don't actually take allot of photos while on the road, unless it is of both kids holding hands in the back seat, they usually don't make the best photos, but are overly cute. The photo I am entering for this weeks in a yellow house photo challenge is also a reflection. I took this about a month ago when we were going home from my cousins birthday I seem to be posting allot of photos from that day. There was this grate sunset behind us, though I wanted to take in the revue mirror but that just did not work out as the trees keeped getting in the way, traveling along the motorway at 130km/h and during sun set, having a P&S camera, using it on fully manuel is just HARD. As soon as you get the setting right, you then have trees or a truck or something els in the picture, then you start again resetting everything cos of the ever changing light. I just ended up using the side mirror, and this is like the ONLY picture I took that looks good. But then I only took about 10 photos. So I could say I am lucky to even get one.

This weeks in a yellow house challenge is being hosted by Ashley Sisk who also happens to be my newest follower since Chelsea is on vacation to Europe. Wounder if she will travel that road I posted...

In a Yellow House - Vaction

BWS tips button I love Vacation, or how I actually would say is holiday. Though we don't often go on holiday since when we do go we go to New Zealand, and flying half way across the world isn't cheap, even less that we are 4 people now. Though I have been over there 3 times with Miss Mar since she has been born. But Mr Mar JR hasn't been over there yet, but he has been to 2 different counties already... But that isn't hard if you live in a land locked country where it only takes 1-3 hours to get to the next capital city. So day trips are easy.

More to the photo I am going to post. With having 12 hours time defence it takes a few days for kids and adults alike to get used to the time defence, this photo was taken on our second day there, I was at my dads and decided to take Miss Mar down to the beach at some outrages early time, something like 530 to 6am, a time my kids don't often get up at...  But we got to see the sun rise on the beach, and my kids LOVE the water, so what was going to stop her going into the water the cold would of stopped me. She was SOAKED by the time I thought it was late enough to go back to the house.

Anyway, here is my little girl looking into the sun rise.
