30 Day Photo Hunt Challenge – Day 12 – Sun set

White Peach PhotoI have the feeling the clouds are deferent here, I don’t quite know why. Is it just that it feels like there is more sky here. But we just have amazing cloud formations. I kind of missed the sunset last night, I don’t know if I was too early or too late. But I was watching the sky and it never really went red like I was expecting it too. So this is my sun set from last night.

30 Day Photo Hunt Challenge – Day 11 – Something Blue

White Peach Photo

OK, anyone getting sick of my water drop photos, I sure am not. I just love them, I have so much fun, and am getting better and better results every time I am taking them. SO FUN.

Here is my latest in blue water of course. Maybe time to change the colour….

Day 199 - Blue

30 Day Photo Hunt Challenge – Day 10 – Childhood Memory

White Peach Photo

Childhood Memories, how much we love those, when the days seemed longer, when we went out afterschool and still had the feeling that we could play for HOURS, now only as an adult do we realise how short that time is. I know when my lovely little girl comes home from school, an hour or so after she is home I am already thinking of what to cook for dinner, and so on.

I love the childhood I had, growing up in a small valley where the neighbours are a km away. Walking to there house through paddocks and rivers. Yes I had a grate childhood.

What I chose wasn’t from my adventures outside, no but from a present me and my sister got when we were 3 and 4 years old. And yes we still have it, now my kids get to make some memories with the exact same duplo train tack as I did.

30 Day Photo Hunt Challenge – Day 9 – Someone you (I) love

White Peach Photo

Today's theme, ok the theme a few days ago, was somebody you (I) love.

Well I love my kids just over everything, Mr mar Jr doesn't so much love his photo to be taken with flash while he is asleep, this is what he dose.

Day 197 - Somebody I love

June 8, 2011

Week 28 of Project 365

It was queens weekend here this weekend, so it was a long weekend (how often can one use the word weekend in a sentence). The kids had fun there. We even went swimming, the official start of winter was on the first. The forecast was HORRIBEL, we were supposed to have wind rain and storms. BUT it was just the opposed, it was warm the sun was shining.

DAY 190
The room I sleep in here is full of glow in the dark stars. So I get to look at the stars even if it is poring down with rain.

Day 195

DAY 196
We went for a walk yesterday just as the sun was starting to set. For a change a deferent view of the sun setting, since I wasn’t on the front lawn.Day 196

30 Day Photo Hunt Challenge – Day 8 – A bad habit

White Peach Photo

A bad habit I guess I have more then I would like. From making the creamiest hot chocolates to staying up too late. But not running anymore is probably the one I don’t like the most. I have my running shoes and mostly when I put them on now is not to go running. I have been 2 times in the last 3 months, Last time I went running on regular basses was back in October last year.

So here are my running shoes, sitting lonely in the grass outside…

30 Day photo Hunt Challenge June 2011 – Day 7 - Fruit

White Peach Photo

I am just joining in now on Day 7 with the theme of fruit.

I had a look through some of the fruit photos and thought they were just amazing. So I thought what can I do.

Well, I decided to stack some Granny smith apples we have from our neighbours. By looking at them now it looks imposable that they would even stay like that. Guess I had them well balanced. I did want to do 4 but they just wouldn’t stay up, so 3 it was.

Week 27 of Project 365

It feels grate to be right on track with posting my photos now.

We can feel how it is getting colder at the workshop (just over the hill from the house) there was a bit of a frost, but not yet at the house, that can’t be far off. So we can feel winter is coming. Mum and Ms Mar planted some garlic on the weekend. We will also plant some potatoes and hope that they grow. Currently we are working on making a new garden, so my mum has a bigger one. You know in case of the world ending and we need to be self sustainable… Not a bad idea, just I would miss having spas.

I am building a wood chopping thing to make cutting the wood smaller for the coal range, and it makes it easer for anyone to cut fire wood in general. The grass is still really wet from the due so that will be my mission for the day.

I still can’t believe that I have really gotten caught up with the photos, editing and posting them. It was a bit daunting to start out with, but it defiantly feels grate. Now I still need to put together a small post of our travels to NZ, We have nearly been here for 3 months now. Time flies.

DAY 183
We had a storm this day, it looked dark all day, Ms Mar went to the neighbours in the afternoon. When we went to pick her up and walk home the sun made all the rain clouds this purple colour. Everything was glowing.

Wind
Clouds getting blown in the wind.
I learnt this back when I was at the hang gliding school (didn’t end up finishing the course because the weather was never really on my side). But when the clouds are pulled long like the yellow ones, it is the wind blowing over them and pulling them out into that shape. You can’t see the wind but you know it is there just the way the clouds are shaped. Now I hope I did remember that correctly.
