The Paper Mama – FRIENDS

Right now I think my 2 kids are each others best friends and worst enemies. They can play nicely for hours, or they can sit there and bite scratch hit or what ever ales. I took this photo last week when we were at my Aunt's birthday lunch. We took the kids to the playground just by my grandmothers (my aunt and Oma live next door to one other) This is the same playground that my mother played on as a child, though it has just been totally renewed. I don’t very often snap a shot of both the kids smiling and looking into a camera. LOL, no Photoshop transplanting on this one. There real smiles and looks. So friends right now…

The Paper Mama–A different View

My little boy has always been a climber, he is always up on everything. He pushes chairs through the room to get up on benches or to get something to eat. He climbs up on fences just on anything he can get upon. Its fun to watch him work out how to get up on stuff but scary at the same time.  So my different view this week is of me climbing up first then taking a photo of him climbing up.

The Paper Mama - Winter

I was just looking at The Paper Mama blog and saw that this weeks theme is winter. It reminded me of a photo I took last week at my grandparents. Mr Mar Jr looking over the town where they live. Just take a look.

Touch Up Tuesday – My kiddies

So I desided to add this add this photo to the Paper HeartCamara touch up Tuesday. I am adding 3 edits, the color, b&w and sepia. I think I like The Sepia best. 

First I opened the photo in Photoshop  and cropped the photo. Afterwards I opened my second picture to to change the eyes, since Ms Mar is looking down and I couldn’t get a photo of both kids looking into the camera. I cut out the eyes, copied them into the Main photo, and adjusted the size and angle to get it to fit onto the main photo. Then I flattened it.

After that I adjusted the Levels, curves, Color Balance, Brightness/Contrast, duplicated the layer and added a soft light layer. I also ran the Coffee Shop Baby Powder Room action then put them all into a set and lowered the occupancy on the whole set.  What I was happy with the way it looked I flattened it.

After that I added a b&w gradient map, changed the curves to adjust the b&w how I liked it. Then to get the Sepia tone I played around with the color balance over the b&w.

So after beening gone for a weekend from home no internet, was I susprised when I got a message from Chelsey Saying my Card has been chosen in the top 20. So PLEASE go over and vote more my card.

Did I just see correct...

If you would of been around where I live on Friday (a few weeks back) you would of seen some crazy lady (moi) walking along with a Phil and Teds pram, with a Christmas tree in it, one kid sitting down the bottom and anther walking behind or way a head on a hello kitty scooter.

I am sure most people just thought, that this crazy lady is just OVER organized already getting a Christmas tree (it is a real live one in a pot so I can still use it for Christmas) BUT in reality Chelsy from the paper mama is giving this lady moi too many ideas.. guess thats good though...

The story behind this crazy lady buying her Christmas tree in November, or 49 days before Christmas, hay that doesn't even sound so far away then now its only 31 days to go . Chelsy over at the paper mama is doing a Christmas card contest then with one tutorial she made I had an idea. BUT I needed my prop, knowing, that Mr Mar Sr would think I am even more crazy for wanting to buy a tree now just to take Christmas card photos for not even him knowing its for an on line thing, and so far hasn't let me have a REAL REAL tree, not just a cut one, I set out, on a Friday afternoon with 2 kids and a stroller to get a tree.

So I moved my living room around, moved the tabel and EVERTHING, since we don't put trees up here a month eruly but only on the day usualy, I do it a week befor, I love having the tree up. I need to keep some of my tradtions. My redone Dining space with the tabel as my tripod. Not the best thing to use as the camara dose not stay in the same place at all.

I had to redo my orgonal picturs, as I forgot to turn the light on, guess one of the kids turned it off. So my pics were way to grainy to even use. Its not easy getting the lighting corect in a littl apartment.

Then, put together my photos in photo shop and hope it works out just they way I like it.

The Papa Mama Photo Challenge - Flowers

I had taken theas photos today, actually to enter them into the orange challenge, I can just never really remember when something ends... But I think it fits just as well for this challenge too. What is Flowers. This is the kids playing with the water fountain at Mr Mar Sr aunties place. They had so much fun with that. And I loved the orange/yellow flowers in front of them.

SUMMER IS HERE,  over at the Papper Mama this week we have the fun theme WATER, what kids don't love water. We were at grandparents place and the kids got to play in there fun pool. I was showing Ms Mar how to make rainbows. She had so much fun, and I was sceard that my camara was going to get "rained" on. But it all stayed nice.

The Paper Mama Photo Challenge - Buddies

This is the first time I am taking part in a photo challenge from the Paper Mama. Though I have been following her blog for a long time and have been wanting to take part in her challenges but then I forget what the theme is.

Today after I picked Ms Mar up from Kindy I decided to google play dough recipes and try it again, last time I tryed it it relay did not work, this time It worked out grate, well nearly grate. Just probably not the best thing to let a 4 year old do the mixing of the pot. It nearly burnt by the time I got to it so it would of needed about 1 more minute to be done so it was just a tad too sticky but the kids still had fun playing with it. Ms Mar loved eating it *BLEACH* really don't know what got into her with that, and Mr Mar Jr didn't really know what to do with it.

So theas are the best friends, best buddies and worst enemies at the same time...
