I heart Faces - Pets

When Was the last time I acutely took part at I heart faces or another place. But when I saw the theme for this week was pets, I had to find the time to get this photo of my mothers dog Buddy, laying on the cows hide up stairs while I was watching TV. I am not the biggest dog fan, and don’t really appreciate it when they try and lay on top of my bed blankets so this was the closest he got to me… I love running and playing with him outside, but this is one lazy dog who would rather sleep on your knee (he thinks he is a small dog) while you watch TV.

Week 28 of Project 365

It was queens weekend here this weekend, so it was a long weekend (how often can one use the word weekend in a sentence). The kids had fun there. We even went swimming, the official start of winter was on the first. The forecast was HORRIBEL, we were supposed to have wind rain and storms. BUT it was just the opposed, it was warm the sun was shining.

The room I sleep in here is full of glow in the dark stars. So I get to look at the stars even if it is poring down with rain.

At the batch we went to over queens weekend they have these pottery ocean deco, a local potter up north here makes them.

Stacked apples. Our neighbour has all these granny smith apples. For both scavenger hunt Sunday and the 30 day photography challenge the theme is apple. I didn’t know what I wanted to take or how to take it. Then this came to mind.

We went for a walk yesterday just as the sun was starting to set. For a change a deferent view of the sun setting, since I wasn’t on the front lawn.

Wind

Clouds getting blown in the wind.

I learnt this back when I was at the hang gliding school (didn’t end up finishing the course because the weather was never really on my side). But when the clouds are pulled long like the yellow ones, it is the wind blowing over them and pulling them out into that shape. You can’t see the wind but you know it is there just the way the clouds are shaped. Now I hope I did remember that correctly.

A tiny egg, found in the neighbours chicken house, don’t often come across them this small, I am not sure if it is from a bantam or one of the normal chickens.

A Spring Activity

My mother gardening, Ms Mar and my mother planted garlic and some other stuff for the garden, though this was a Autumn planting and not in spring as in NZ we have Autumn now.

Week 26 of Project 365

FINALY I have caught up with my Photos, now already at week 26 I am half way though this and only missed at few days. It is amazing that I have really stuck with something this long, and I am still enjoying. Some days I do have a bit of a harder time taking a photo. But not most days.

This week we had flooding and Ms Mar got to stay home from school. We couldn’t really get out of the valley we are living in. But it was fun. In the afternoon we went for a walk to feed the neighbours rabbits, the river was HIGH, but we did notice it had already started to go down. The next day the school bus couldn’t get to us, since there had been a huge slip. Only cars could get past, they also chopped down some trees so it took them all day to clean it up. The school bus did bring her home though.
